  • As a vendor you’ll have the opportunity to connect with mindful and engaged shoppers over three days at the Railway Museum of BC.

    Your space is an opportunity to showcase and sell your creative wares, connect with other vendors and shoppers and includes:

    -Vendor listing on our website

    -Social media mentions via stories

    -Electrical available upon request (limited availability)

    -One chair (a table is an additional cost) of $12

    COSTS:

    3 days 6 ft X 4 ft with table - $440 + GST *includes a chair but not a table

    3 days 10ft x 6 ft (no table included) $495 + GST *includes a chair but not a table

    3 days 10ft x 10ft (no table included) $500 + GST *includes a chair but not a table

    ADD TO YOUR LIST TO BRING:

    -Please bring your own table, linens and lighting

    -A trolley to bring your products in and out if needed

    -Other administrative items such as pens, paper, business cards, tape, extension cords, lighting

  • Set up will take place on Friday, November 8 between 11am-2pm.

    A schedule will be emailed to you with your load in details closer to the event date.

    Takedown will take place on Sunday, November 10. Please take everything with you and leave the space as you found it. We ask all vendors to do their best to exit by 530pm.

  • The load in times will be sent to vendors the week of the event within designated time slots on Friday, November 8 (between 11am-2pm).

    To minimize stress and streamline load-in, we highly recommend setting up your space in advance and pack your market toolkit so you have set yourself up for success..

    These details will be included on the load in and load out document that will be sent one week before the event takes place.

    We ask all market vendors are ready for 3:30pm on Friday and 930am on Saturday and Sunday.

  • On Friday night we will be hosting a VIP Shopping hour between 4pm-5pm.

    Each VIP shopper will be gifted a bag with vendor items and event partner gifts.

    This year we are asking each vendor to donate at minimum 3 full-size items to minimize waste and enhance the gift bag experience (with a value of $75).

    I also suggest attaching a card to your product for 10-20% for up to 30 days post event to drive customers to your website to the products you put in the bags.

  • Each food vendor must comply with all VCH rules and have VCH approval before event day. Due to the nature of the venue there can be no hot food served onsite. If we do not receive this information Bespoke Market participation will not be excepted.

    From Whistler by car:

    From Whistler, you will head south on the Sea to Sky Highway. When you reach Mamquam take a right and then take a left on Government Road and continue to stay right on Government.

    Once you drive over the railway tracks begin looking for our parking team to direct you to a free parking spot

    From Vancouver by car:

    The drive from Downtown Vancouver to the Railway Museum of BC in Squamish is approximately 1 hour and fifteen minutes along the picturesque Sea to Sky Highway. The Railway Museum is located at 39645 Government Road.

    Once you reach Squamish, turn left on Commercial Way, right on Queens Way and follow until you merge with Government Road. Once you drive over the railway tracks begin looking for our parking team to direct you to a free parking spot.

    From Vancouver By Car:

    The drive from Downtown Vancouver to Whistler is approximately one hour and 40 minutes along the picturesque Sea to Sky Highway. Please note that winter tires are required in December. Information related to current road conditions can be found on the Drive BC website.

  • Vendor parking will be in the main lot of the venue and we will have a vendor overflow space as well (about a 1-min walk from the venue!). Please come prepared for load in with a trolley and do not park or block the front doors of the entrance so others can easily get in and out of the building.

  • Yes, we will have a seating area for you to enjoy your food and have a drink.

  • Please make sure you’ve planned a sufficient data plan to receive payment from shoppers although there is wifi available at the venue.

  • 1. Plan out your booth space in advance including how you’re going to merchandise your products. By pre-planning you’re giving yourself more ease for event load-in all the way to booth completion. Pro tip! Take pictures from home of what your space looks like so if you have helpers with you - you can give them a visual of what needs to be done.⁠

    2. Have a market toolbox. Need some ideas? Scissors, zap straps, electrical cords, trolley, phone chargers, business cards, postcards, samples, bags for your packaging and newsletter sign ups are just a few ideas to get you started!⁠

    3. Branded signage. Signage ideas include price point, ingredients of your product, how your product works… anything that helps potential shoppers make a quick decision.

    4. Data and payment systems organized - have your phone charged and ready to go. Many vendors use Square and it's also recommended to have a way to purchase from your website as a backup.⁠

    5. Make sure to plan out your meals (markets can go by quickly!) and you want your energy to stay high. Good food and hydration are key!⁠

  • We suggest bringing lighting for your space (it's always a good idea).

    Although there is natural light at the venue, we do have a Friday night program.

  • No, there is not. The closest one is across the street at the Brewhouse if required.

  • The Railway Museum is an accessible venue and there are parking spots available close to the venue if needed - please ask parking attendants if you have any special requests related to accessibility.

    Our aisles are between 7-8 feet wide.

    Outside of these times the main gate could be locked.

  • Yes! Please fill out this form and we will highlight you in additional online contesting. A great opportunity for additional exposure such as being featured on our social media, newsletter channels and also any collaboration we might be doing with media.

  • There are two options for you to send us your goods:

    1. You can mail them to Shannon Lorenz by November 1

    2. We can collect your items on Friday afternoon between 1130am-2pm. The bags will be given to people who purchased a ticket called "Early Access Ticket". We are expecting up to 90 shoppers to attend this dedicated shopping hour between 4pm-5pm of the event. Please come by the door anytime between 1130am-2pm. while our team is assembling the bags.

    Gift bags will be handed out on Friday evening only.

    All vendors are required to submit vendor insurance prior to the start of the market.
